do I need a catz.io account?

We create one for you as part of the build. Your bot lives there and you can top up credits whenever you need more messages.

what if the personality doesn't sound like my cat?

Chairman and Legend tiers include one free revision. Tell us what to change and we'll rewrite it. The intake form is the key - the more detail you give us upfront, the less likely you'll need a revision.

what's the actual difference between the tiers?

Detail. Kitten is built from one photo and two questions, so it's a quick, playful version of your cat. Chairman takes six questions and up to three photos, and it's hand-tuned - it holds a longer conversation, remembers more, and gets funnier the more you chat. Legend is Chairman plus a public page and an embed code for your own site. The more you tell us about your cat, the more it sounds like your cat.

can my cat bot be on my own website?

Yes - but only on the Legend plan. You'll get an embed snippet (a single iframe) you can drop onto any page. Visitors get a few free messages before being prompted to sign up on catz.io to continue.

what happens to the credits?

Each message costs one credit. Your starting credits are included in the price. When you run out, you top up from the same packs available to all catz.io users.

can I get a refund?

If you haven't submitted the intake form yet, yes. Once the form is in and we've started building, the work has begun and refunds aren't available.
